When we visited Bayview Coffee Farm in Kona, we learned a lot about the coffee harvesting and preparation process.
Right out of the cherry, a coffee bean is sticky and sweet, and tastes nothing like a roasted coffee bean. After they’re washed and dried, the beans are known as “green beans,” which you can buy and roast at home if you want.
