I’m not sure if Barack Obama can or should be president, but his rhetoric stands in such stark contrast to any other politician in my recent memory that I can’t help but get a little excited. Time will tell. Anyone else counting down to 2008?

I’m not sure “change” is really a cause or a platform, so I’ll be interested to hear more about what he’s proposing. It’s a bit early for that, though.
I wouldn’t rule out voting for him.
I get the impression that rhetoric is the only thing Obama is made of. We’ll see how he stands up to what will probably be a brutal Democratic primary. My guess is that he’ll burn out fast.
