copyright violation! suit at hand! ok perhaps not.
I have an entire book of printer’s dingbats in the shape of leaves. However, I like simplicity in logo design, especially when it involves type (e.g., the leaf forms the letter “E”).
At least it’s not quite as humiliating as Quark’s predicament.
Leave it to the graphic design pro! I had completely missed this (now obvious) element of the logo.

I think it’s probably the combination of the use of the letter “e” and the color green, but it reminds me of the old ecology flag. You can see an example here.
