Well, it appears as if my 419 spammer is in between functional scams at the moment:

Dear Rev,I received your email that their website is down and immediately called the Bank to confirm, luckily i was reliably informed by their top management staff that technical department would be working on their site following the Banks merger with another, they informed me that notices were sent previously to clients last month,i guess it is the reason we did not have such notification and they have recommended that their affilaite Bank will be dealing with us in the interim, i shall get details of their affilliate Bank and inform you accordingly.
Thank you Reverend.
Sincerely,
BROWN WALTER (Barr.in Law)—Nov 22—
Dear Rev Smithers.
I called the Bank this morning and was informed that they rescinded their decision about delegating their affiliate Bank with the responsibilities, instead has chosen to expedite the technical work on their facilities such that there are no complications that would have negative impact on their clients, hopefully we should have things in place soon.
Thanks for being patient

Dean Smithers,My apology, you may understand that there was some technical problems been sorted out by the Company and there was an initial suggested alternative to have the money transfered by a courier means to which i had initially declined, as it seem we have no choice but to engage the services of reputable courier firm to help us make delivery of the fund as i await you judgement or consent, there are many courier firms at our disposal, such as TNT, DHL, APL, UPS etc, i shall find out which is more effecient and less expensive and keep you updated in prompt.
Once again thanks for your patience.
Sincerely,
BROWN WALTER (Barr.in Law)
My response:
Thanks for the update, brother. We’re eager to do what we can to help the process along.
God bless,
Rev. Dean Peters
