If God reveals anything to you by any other instrument of His, be as ready to receive it as you were to receive any truth by my ministry, for I am verily persuaded the Lord hath more truth yet to break forth out of His Holy Word. John Robinson, 1620 AD

Back from the Pack

I’m back to civilization. Actually, we got back Sunday afternoon, but I’ve been consumed with catching up on other life stuff since then.

We had a great hike, which included seeing a mountain goat. I’ll post some pictures on Flickr soon, but until then you’ll have to trust me when I say the views were fantastic. We camped by two alpine lakes, which were blue-green and ice-cold.

Today, my legs are really sore - I feel it most when going up or down stairs, which brings back memories of the 2,000-foot Asgard Pass we climbed on the second day (though going down the third day was just as bad).

Backpacking with friends is great. Glad I’m back home.
