Huh. Can’t say I don’t sympathize with them.
Among the interesting things on their site you will find the English translation (PDF file) of a 1962 Vatican publication that states that priests accused of sexual abuse should be transferred to another assignment, and that the accusations should be kept under wraps. Scary piece of history.

It absolutely does not include spammers. There’s a loophole clause fom them in 2nd Trepidations 2:8:
“The Lord Thy God shall smite all those who usurp the bandwidths of their brethren without compensation. For the Lord your God Loves Justice.”
I think I got it all. That was horrible. Over 100 comments, all from the same company or two, but with different IP addresses each time. Probably using dozens of AOL dialup accounts or something. I renamed the comment script so it won’t happen again (hopefully).

Isn’t the 1139 proscription concerning marriage of priests based solely on property rights and possible loss of church property?
