Gmail: from the makers of Google. Quite possibly the greatest free email the world has ever known, including the following features:
* All of Google’s search capabilities for your email messages
* One gigabyte (yes, 1024 megabytes) of free storage
* No popup ads or banners (except google text ads and links)
* Context display, where each message is grouped with its replies and displayed as a conversation
I love Go Ogle… er, Google.

Well, considering this “news story” was released on April 1st, one has to wonder…. *grin*
This is basically what I do with Outlook and Hotmail, except that I have to store everything on my hard drive.
I’m not sure I would want to keep file attachments, but I think permanently archiving email is a teriffic idea, especially if it’s as searchable as Google makes things.
On the downside of Google and searching in general…one of my 6th grade students found me here and left a comment, and, strangely, emailed me via the BloggerCon site. Weird. I’d better watch what I say =).
Kids these days.
