We aren't very into all that copyright stuff. Creative Commons licenses are better, so RC is licensed under this one.
Quote Radical Congruency at will. Inbound links are appreciated, and required for direct quotations.
You may also have noticed that all the pages have the same format now. That’s thanks to a handy little tag called MTInclude, which works just like PHP includes, but without the difficulty - MT manages it all. I wish I’d known that four hours ago.
All I have to do to edit my template now is change one of three files, and every page on the site is updated next time I republish.
I love polls!
But the layout code is apparently no longer Netscape-friendly. The entire site is offset about 300 pixels to the right in NS7 (Windows), forcing me to scroll over horizontally to read. 8(
(The top and bottom sections of the orange rule only bracket the left-hand column of content in NS7. The problem may be with incorrect table cell widths and/or COLSPAN attributes.)
And did I say I love polls??
Arggh. Thanks for telling me. I hate incompatible tags. I’ll try to fix it when I get a chance.
Does it look better now? I applied the CSS style to the table tag itself, rather than enclosing it in a DIV container. I also widened it a bit, to 760 pixels. Please let me know if there are still any odd display/layout issues. The orange border is supposed to surround the entire page.
I see what you mean about the table width: fixed CSS element - it totally wrecks the page in Safari, the new Mac browser (I’m in class now). My typography instructor suggested making the page banner wider, so the table expands to its full width. Otherwise, it seems to shrink to the width of the widest image, which is about 600px now.
It’s a beauty on this page. The left and right border rules are missing on the home page, though.
