The HP Business Inkjet 1100d. All I want for Christmas. My $60 Epson two-cartridge has renounced its sacred duty to print the color cyan, despite countless replacement cartridges, cleaning cycles, paper towels with isopropyl alcohol on the printheads, and searches of printer how-to sites. I have strayed from the HP fold, and have paid the price.
PC Magazine’s review sold me instantly on the 1100d. The average cost per page is $0.02, half that of most printers. This HP has 4 separate cartriges (I always run out of cyan first, so everything starts to look red), does 23ppm, and prints double-sided automatically. It’s huge and ugly, but at $200, it’s cheap and, well, awesome.
