I really enjoyed Ward's book. He's short on specifics of what a "Liquid Church" will ultimately look like, but he admits that up front: "liquid church doesn't exist yet...don't think I've set up and run one...what I say here is an attempt to imagine rather than describe a different way of being church." I was glad to "imagine" with him and found the book helpful in this regard. Enjoy reading it...I look forward to hearing your observations.

I'll be interested in your thoughts because if I read Steve Taylor's reviews right then Ward suggests we embrace consumerism and 'play to it' rather than fight it. I am hoping to read this book soon.
